Fisher's exact test
(Fisher's exact probability test; Fisher Exact Test; Fisher Exact Probability Test; Fisher's PLSD; Fisher's Protected Least Significant Difference)

A statistical test used when a sample size is too small to use chi-square analysis.  As with chi-square, a comparison between expected and observed results is made to determine if the results vary significantly from what would be expected by chance.
