underfloor ventilation system
(underfloor ventilation systems)

Underfloor ventilation systems (UVSs) utilize the space beneath raised floors that house cables and wire for technology (e.g., computers). Air ducts pump conditioned air under the floor, then terminals installed in the floor bring the conditioned air into the room. UVSs are considered a localized ventilation system in that they provide conditioned air to localized areas only, instead of maintaining uniform temperatures.
